RESTRICTING PERMISSIBILITY IN CONTEMPORARY ISSUES: AN EMPIRICAL STUDY ON THE CORONA PANDEMIC

Abstract:
One of the virtues of Islamic law ' Sharia' is that it prescribed diligence for this nation, because the texts are fixed, and the reality is changeable, and this indicates that Islamic law is not rigid, but rather revolves around the interest of man, and therefore diligence was prescribed in interpreting the texts, and looking at the facts to obtain its ruling in the Sharia. The problem statemen: The problem of the study is crystalized in studying and analyzing the restriction of permissibility during the Corona pandemic from the perspective of Islamic law Objectives of the study:The study aims to present clarification about the restriction of permissibility, with its practical implementation on some issues and provisions related to the Covid-19 pandemic. Methodology:The study is anchored on the comparative descriptive approach, in addition to the analytical and deductive approaches. Results: The study concluded to what is meant by restricting permissible is to give preference to one of the two sides for legitimate reasons. In addition, the guardian, “the head of the state,” may restrict what is permissible by forcing it or forbidding it according to what he deems a significant interest in that, according to Sharia controls.
