Abstract:
Gratitude, in the Noble Qur’an, is one of the important acts of worship
mentioned. Allah Almighty has commanded his servants to give thanks and
urged them in various ways. The problem of this research lies in: What is
the effect of gratitude on blessings? What are the reasons that lead the
slave to the status of a grateful slave? This research aims to: Identify
gratitude, its occurrence in the Noble Qur’an and its types, and to explain
the impact of gratitude for grace on the individual and society.
To analyse this research, inductive method in tracing the texts from the
Qur’an and the analytical method are used. The researcher has found out a
number of results, including A reason to increase blessings and preserve
perpetuate is gratitude, and among the most important reasons for its
demise is the denial and ingratitude of its grace and that the blessings of
Allah are innumerable.
