THE IMPORTANCE OF FOLLOWING AND ADHERENCE TO SUNNAH
Abstract
Sunnah is a great emblem because it leads to seeking guidance by Rasulullah (may Allah’s Blessings and peace be upon him)، and it is the emblem of the Companions and the saved group of this nation. Following the sunnah is the right path which draws us closer to our Creator and to worship him based on knowledge and insight. When people of innovation increased and innovation spread and the people adhering to Sunnah decreases، the adherence to Sunnah has become an exotic issue. Here lies the research problem. This research aims to emphasize the importance of Sunnah and adherence to it، and the precaution from innovation and its followers. I followed the inductive and deductive methodology of Islamic evidences and the scholars’ opinions which emphasized the importance of Sunnah and precautioned from the danger of innovation. The results of research have shown the importance of inviting into the adherence to Sunnah and adherence to it، and the precaution from innovation and its people.
