FOOD SECURITY IN THE ISLAMIC PERSPECTIVE
Abstract
Islam was sent to realize all objectives and necessities; however, some of those who do not have deep knowledge of Islamic Law may wrongly think that Islam give care to the food security, which is the research problem. The research aims at realizing the great objectives of Islam the most important of which is the preservation of the five necessities, and that man enjoys security in all its aspects including “food security”. Therefore, Islam set the rules and principles which ensures its realizations, in addition, this study aims at clarifying the reality of food security and its significance in the Islamic System. It gathers the referential texts related to the food security in the Qur’an and Sunnah.
