AL-SENOUSI ANGLES AND THEIR IMPACT ON SCIENTIFIC AND SOCIAL LIFE IN LIBYA


The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of Senussi Zawya in the educational and social life in Libya. As the Senussi Zawya had the main role in the intellectual life and science advancement and development. Senussi Zawya used the proper principles in its approach, which included Quran Karim. The research will also address how the Senussi Zawya shifted from advocacy and reform role to its significance contributory role in the advancement and urge of science and being not limited to asceticism and worship only. Before delving into the impact of that Senussi Zawya in the development of education and social cohesion, the study will clarify the definition of Senussi Zawya, its components and elements in some details to reach the expected results from the current study. Particularly, the concern will be with regard to the positive impacts of these Zawya in order to motivate all components of Libyan society towards educational development and social reform between rival tribes in the Libyan regions. The study will use the descriptive, historical approach in order to present events, historic facts in that period.
